He just told you that he loved you, and he led you on. He probably mentioned your future together, and even marriage.

He never loved you.

These types of NPD men are a dime a dozen.

How can you tell if someone or someone's is trying to recruit or at least test you for a secret organization?

When he approached you, he never thought about love, because he did not love you. He only thought about how he could take from you, until you were left a dried-out husk.

You gave him everything. That is what he was after.
